Visiting Fellow - Sarah Simons

Sarah Simons has  a range of research interests including African Victimology, Forensic Victimology, Women, Peace and Security in Africa, Refugees and Asylum Seekers' Mental Health, Young African Women Empowerment, Forensic Criminology, Forensic Psychology and Forensic Psychiatry (PTSD) and Victimology.

Sarah trained with the police in Pasenda, USA in profiling then returned to Kenya to train members in the police force to enable them to track pirates. Sarah is currently working in the  Demoncratic Republic of the Congo, setting up a victims support unit for rape victims. Following this, she is going to university in Nigeria to study Forensic victimology and criminology.
